Joe Ayres & Capt. Harry have been the best of friends for over 45 years, when they moved from different neighborhoods in the Bronx to Pearl River NY within 2 weeks of one another. Joe is recently retired from the NYC Housing Department. Joe & Harry have been fishing together since their teenage years starting in freshwater and then moved onto surf and ocean fishing when they both could drive. 

Joe has been married to his wife Karen for over 30 years living in Blauvelt NY and has two adult children Christopher and Kassidy who both live in Hawaii. Joe is also very active with the Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians as a bass drum player.
